Known as “The Wizard,” Reese migrated from New Orleans to Venice in 1905 and became an esteemed inventor, designer and businessman known for his vibrant decorations around the area. Hotel is not too big which is what we preferred. If we'd ever come back to New orleans I would stay in this place again and would not search for any other and I rarely say this. Excellent location, walking distance from everything.

Great, authentic feel, not at all a sterile hotel chain feel. The staff were great at the hotel, very accommodating and helpful. The location is a couple of block from the French Quarter, which would be most tourists reason to visit. But the CBD and some street car lines are close by.

International House is an absolute gem of a hotel. Fabulously located - walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Rooms are generous in size and the hotel itself is beautifully designed. I cannot say enough good things about this boutique hotel and brilliant value for money!! I would stay there again - I wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.3 for a two-person trip. Great location, hotel has good facilities and room was a decent size. Staff was helpful and changed our room when we raised noise issues. Rooms are big and functional, location is good.
